Canadian student being trained in Nematological Techniques in TNAU

Coimbatore : A student from Canada is undergoing training in Nemotology in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) here as part of an Student Exchange programme.

TNAU and Dalhousie University, Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada have signed an MOU for students exchange programme.

Hannah Arseneault, I M.Sc student of Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, is attending the programme and will be familiarized with all the Nematological techniques so as to empower her to handle them required for her thesis research work at her university, a TNAU release said today.

The training programme has been organized by Dr. K. Prabakar, Director, Centre for Plant Protection Studies, in the Department of Nematology under Dr. K.Poornima, from March 11 to 22, it said.
