CBI carries out search in the house of one accused

Coimbatore : CBI officials Monday carried out a search in the house of Sabarirajan in nearby Pollachi, one of the five accused in the sensational sexual harassment case of women there.
Two officers from the investigating agency, which took over the case from Tamil Nadu CB-CID, reportedly inquired with the accused’s parents, who were in the house during the search, police sources said.
The case was based on a complaint lodged by a 19-year-old girl student that she was videographed in the nude in a car and blackmailed with the visuals to part with money and jewels.
Five persons were arrested in the case and the CBI had carried out raids on the house and farm of key accused Thirunavukkarasu last week.
