Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) today wanted the Governor of Tamil Nadu and Chief Minister to sack State Minister, Dindigul Srinivasan on his remarks about former Chief minister, Jayalalitha.

Besides, Srinivasan, should be made the first witness if there is a possibility of an inquiry into the entire episode, KMDK General secretary, E R Easwaran told reporters here.

Stating that all the ministers and party functionaries were telling different stories about the health condition of Jayalalithaa, he said that CBI should suo moto take up the case and bring all the leaders in the inquiry net, by possessing the CCTV footages in Appollo Hospitals and her Poes Garden residence.

There was the possibility of an unrest in the country, due to economic policies of the Centre, particularly demonetisation and GST implementation, which had adverse impact on industry and price rise of all essential commodities, he cautioned.

The situation in Tamil Nadu is even worse, with increasing crime rate and industrial production going down, resulting in 60 per cent under-utilisation of power, Easwaran said.
