Union Minister for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Harshvardhan has dismissed allegations that the RSS was “remote-controlling” the government at the centre, and said that they “are all with similar ideology with focus on Rashtradharma.”

“There was nothing wrong in taking advice from the father,” he said, as clarification.

The minister also added that the Narendra Modi Government does not need certificate from anyone (including the Congress), because they “have been given certificate by 120 crore people in 2014, which is still fresh.”

When asked why the government had not brought down the prices of petrol and diesel, with the crude oil prices reducing drastically in the global market, he replied that the Government was concerned about other economy related issues.

On whether the Bihar assembly polls would be a referendum on Modi’s governance, he said, “Referendum or no referendum, we will have a handsome victory.”
