Chinese quilting machine manufacturing company to set up office here

Coimbatore: Leading Quilting machine manufacturing company, Hencheng Machine Factory India, is setting up an All India office and showroom here.
The China-based company has its presence n India since 2013 and supplying quilting chines for mattress industries, in the process selling more than 200 machines across India, its International Marketing Manager, Lai Zhongyao told reporters here today.
Being set up at a cost of Rs.one crore, the showroom will be opened tomorrow at Arasur on the outskirts, he said.
With a market share of nearly 25 per cent, the company is selling 15 machines per year with an annual growth 50 per cent, Indian Manager, Sangeetha said.
With mattress industry growing at rapid phase in India, it was estimated that about 200 mattress manufacturing and its allied industries were expected to be set up across India during 2018-19, which required large number of quilting machines, she said.
