Tamilnadu Handloom Weavers′ Co-operative Society Ltd., popularly known as Co-optex, established in 1935, has a long and rich tradition in handloom. Now, more than 80 years old, the brand has a national presence with 200 showrooms located across the country.

Co-optex deals with a plethora of products ranging from silk sarees, cotton sarees, organic sarees, printed cotton sarees, chudidhars, bedspreads, and pillow covers among other products. They are also known for their discounts.

You can now buy all that you want – dresses and home accessories made by weavers from Salem, Coimbatore, Arani, and Kancheepuram, at discount prices. “Last year we had a turnover of Rs.25,40,000. This year, we intend to do business of around Rs.40 lakh,” R. Natrajan, Manager, PR, Co-optex Coimbatore, says.

The products are priced from Rs.300 to 25,000.
