Coimbatore to Host 10th Edition of Book Fair from July 17; 400 Stalls to Participate

The 10th edition of the CODISSIA Book Fair 2026 will be held from July 17 to July 26 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, offering readers a ten-day celebration of books, literature and learning.
Announcing the event at a press conference,CODISSIA President Rangasamy, Secretary Vijay Anand, Book Fair 2026 Chairman Ramesh, and Vice-Chairman Muthukumar said the fair has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated literary events.
The organisers said the fair will feature 400 stalls representing publishers and booksellers from across India. Visitors will have access to a wide collection of books, including works by renowned authors, novels, literary classics, children’s books, academic titles and competitive examination guides.
The organisers expect the event to attract over one lakh visitors during the ten-day fair, reflecting the growing reading culture in Coimbatore and neighbouring districts.The book fair will remain open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and entry will be free for all visitors.
The organisers have invited students, teachers, book lovers and families to take part in the event and explore a diverse range of publications from publishers across the country.
