Another round of twitter war seems to have broken out between Congress leader S Jothimani and BJP’s IT wing.

The TNCC spokesperson has pinned a post with a screenshot that has come out in her name abusing Hindus and Hindu temples.

Accusing the BJP of indulging in spreading a photoshopped tweet, Jothimani told The Covai Post, “I have a verified account. But, this particular tweet that has come in my name is given as it has been picked up from lawyer Prashant Bhushan’s twitter handle. It is the handiwork of the BJP’s IT wing. They have photoshopped and circulated it through WhatsApp through which I came to know.”

She claimed that they tried to duplicate her Facebook account too by creating a fake ID earlier and those were traced to Gujarat.

“The BJP IT wing indulges in such misdeeds and tries to bring down those who they see are a potential threat to their ideology. They think I am one of them. But I am not the one who becomes submissive when their troll army trolls me. I troll them back. So, now they have taken to secretly circulating such messages in my name by picking up some ID like Prashant Bhushan’s randomly and giving courtesy to that ID,”Jothimani says.

The BJP, however, has denied her allegations. Its state IT and Social Media wing president D Dileep Kumar, who said he used to regularly check Jothimani’s Twitter account, also claimed, “Tweeting it herself, she is shifting the blame on us because she knows that she can be in the limelight only if she attacks BJP. Her account cannot be meddled with as it is a verified one. Moreover, we have lot of other work to do.”
