The Joint Movement for People’s Welfare (JMPW) has decided to mobilize thousands of people for its proposed meeting at Coimbatore for its release of ‘Common Minimum Programme’.
The Coimbatore District consultation meeting of the JMPW was held in the District CPI office at Coimbatore under the chairmanship of District CPI Secretary K.M. Selvaraj, which took many decisions.
On behalf of the JMPW, a demonstration would be organized in Tatabad on November 3 condemning the steep increase in prices of essential commodities. The Common Minimum Programme of the JMPW would be released in a meeting at Sivananda Colony, on November 25 in which the All India and State leaders of both the CPI and CPI-M, as well as MDMK chief Vaiko and VCK chief Thirumavalavan would be taking part.
Elaborate arrangements for the same would be made by the JMPW and thousands of public will be mobilized for this meeting from throughout Coimbatore district.
