Corona gets 14 more in the Nilgiris

The Covid-19 infection count in the Nilgiris went up by 14 on Monday,according to a statement issued by the Nilgiris Collector Ms.J.Innocent Divya here.

With this the total now is 84 as one of the infected included in the list on Sunday turned out to have a Chennai address.

Of the new ones two from Commercial road in Ooty,two from Manthada,six from Ketti,one from Hulhadda and one from Coonoor had come into secondary contact with the Public Relations Officer of a private company who had been infected.Of the other two one was from Coonoor and other from the Police Quarters on Church Hill in Ooty.

While 32 have been cured 26 are undergoing treatment at the Governmenr Headquarters hospital in Ooty and 26 at the ESI hospital in Coimbatore.
