The Confederation of Indian Industry has condoled the death of Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.

In a statement, its president Dr. Naushad Forbes said the country has lost a visionary, dynamic and an inspiring leader.

Ramesh Kymal, chairman, CII Tamil Nadu State Council said, “During her tenure as Chief Minister she made sure that Tamil Nadu retained its position as the most favoured investment destination in India with the presence of diverse industries.”

Chandrajit Banerjee, CII director-general said CII would work closely with the Government in realising the vision of making the State a leader in development.
