e-Governance projects invited from students

District Collector Archana Patnaik has called upon college students to submit projects for ‘Excellence in e-Governance’ awards announced by the State Government.

In a statement, she said, “In order to create awareness among the college students on e-governance and also to encourage them to popularize the use of e-governance, the state government has announced district and state awards on ‘Excellence in e-Governance’ for the year 2015-16. The details and guidelines to apply for the award are available at www.coimbatore.nic.in, and interested students can get all the required details from it.”

She also said, “The applications can be downloaded from the website and the filled application with the signature of the college principal should be submitted at the district collectorate along with the project report.”

The completed applications will be received on August 10 and 11 at the district collectorate.
