Erode-Tiruchi Fort electrified line inspection on Feb 2, 3 Covai Post Network

COIMBATORE: The newly electrified line between Erode and Tiruchi Fort Stations will be inspected by Commissioner for Railway Safety (Southern circle) on Friday and Saturday.

Commissioner for Railway Safety K.A. Manoharan will be conducting the inspection, which will begin at 9.30 a.m. at Erode and end at 5 p.m in Tiruchi, according to a press release

The Commissioner will be inspecting the electrification works carried out at Chavadipalayam, Pasur, Unjalur, Kodumudi, Pugalur, Murthipalayam, Karur, Virarakkiyam, Mayanoor, Mahadanapuram, Lalapet, Kulithalai, Pettavaithalai, Perugumani, Elamanur, Mutharasanallur, and Tiruchi Fort Stations that come under the jurisdiction of Salem Division. On February 3 (Saturday) he will start the inspection from Tiruchi at 9.50 a.m. and will inspect electrification works at Tiruchi Fort, Mutharasanallur, Elamanur, Perugumani, Pettavaithalai, Perugumani, Elamanur, and will reaching Erode at 6 p.m., the release added.

Salem Division Manager Hari Shankar Verma and other senior officials will accompany the Commissioner.
