Coimbatore : Isha Outreach today conducted a free eye checkup followed by a treatment camp In collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital and Arogyalai.
Of the 86 people attended the camp held at Thaliyur Government primary School, eight were diagnosed for cataract and were taken to Aravind Eye Hospital for the surgery at free of cost.
The beneficiaries have availed the treatment, transport, food and accommodation free of cost.
Good quality spectacles have also been offered to 16 people at a very cheap cost, Isha release said.
