The first session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly that will immediately follow AIADMK winning the assembly election, will commence here on May 25 at the Fort St George.

The 15th Legislative Assembly will begin its session with members taking oath at the secretariat complex.

The elections to the speaker and deputy speaker will be held on June 3 at 10 am. Former minister and senior AIADMK MLA S Semmalai, who was sworn in as the Protem Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, will start the proceedings on May 25 at 11 am.

All the elected legislators were asked the bring certificate of elections without fail.
