Four kg ganja seized in Pollachi

Police today arrested a youth and seized about four kg of ganja from his possession in Pollachi. The ganja was being smuggled to Kerala.
Based on a tip off, police kept vigil at the Central bus stand in the early hours in Pollachi, about 35 km from here and nabbed a youth, who was moving about in a suspicious manner, Police said.
After searching him, Police recovered four kg of ganja, packed in small packets, to be taken
to Kerala for sale, they said.
The youth has been identified as Sasikumar, hailing from Cumbum in Tamil Nadu and interrogation was on to find out the sources of supply and sales destination, Police added.
