Justifying the action taken by Tamil Nadu Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao with regard to demand for convening Assembly for a floor test, BJP State unit chief Tamilisai Soundararajan today said he has acted according to the constitutional framework.

“Things will not move as desired by the opposition parties and everything is happening under legal and constitutional framework,” she told reporters at the airport here.

“The Governors have a separate legal framework and Rao will act considering the situation in Tamil Nadu. With a long experience in Home affairs behind him, Rao knows how to handle such situation and he has acted as per the rules,” Tamilisai said.

MLAs owing allegiance to T.T.V. Dinakaran have not floated a new party and their appeal is to change the Chief Minister, which is an internal matter of the party, she said.

“Where is the question for the Governor to intervene in this,” she asked.
