Kochi: Heavy rain lashed most of the places in the State with Idukki getting the maximum during the last 24 hours.
Peermedu taluk received 174 mm in the last 12 hours ending 8 am on Thursday.
Landslips occurred in different places on the Kottarakkara-Dindigul national highway and traffic was disrupted as a result of trees getting uprooted. Idukki received 50.2 mm rainfall, Udumbanchola 37, Thodupuzha 34.9 and Devikulam 28.5.
