Coimbatore : Home Credit India Finance Pvt Ltd, a leading non-banking financial company, aims to expand its presence across India by establishing 1 lakh stores in 497 cities by 2020, a senior company official said today.
The company has a strong network of over 20,000 points of sales stores at present in the country, where it services over 5 million customers through an employee base of over 19,000 in 100 cities in 20 States, Home Credit India Chief Sales Officer Artem Popov told reporters here.
The company also lined up ambitious plans in Tamil Nadu, targeting its PoS network to 2,000 from the present 700 by the end of 2018, he said. To support the expansion, the company plans to ramp up its employee base by hiring 100 more people next year, which would touch 500 from the current 390, Popov said.
In terms of products, it is currently offering zero per cent interest on 95 per cent of all mobile phones in Tamil Nadu and aims to launch zero per cent interest loans on various leading home appliance brands soon, he said. About Coimbatore, the PoS network will be more than doubled from the 150 to 400 by the end of this year, Popov added.
