Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) marked a historic milestone today in its mission to provide world-class healthcare with the grand inauguration of its new Institute of Neuro Sciences & OPD Block. The Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, officially inaugurated both the new KMCH Institute of Neuro Sciences & OPD Block and the KMCH Medical College Post Graduate Institute on 15.01.2026 Thursday.

The event was presided over by Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman & Managing Director of KMCH, in the presence of Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Vice President, KMCH and Dr. Arun Palaniswami, Executive Director, KMCH.

This cutting-edge integration allows for unprecedented precision in treating complex neurological and vascular conditions, placing KMCH at the global forefront of medical imaging and intervention.

To ensure a stress-free experience, each floor will have Speciality pharmacies, Phlebotomy, Cash counters, cafeterias, ATM services, navigation kiosk and self-registration Kiosks, to focus on patient centric functions.

*Advancing Medical Education: New PG Programs*
Expanding its commitment to academic excellence, the newly inaugurated Post Graduate Institute will offer specialized M.D. and M.S. courses across 10 vital disciplines: MD Pathology, MD Community Medicine, MD General Medicine, MD Pediatrics, MD Anesthesiology, MD Radiology, and MD Emergency Medicine and M.S. General Surgery, Orthopedics, and OBG (Obstetrics & Gynecology). Our PG Program has been approved by the National Medical council and accredited by the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical university, Guindy, Chennai from the academic year 2025 – 2026
