The Indian Air Force’s interactive student road drive, named Guardians of the Sky, which started in Delhi is set to be in Coimbatore from November 7 to 16.

One school and four colleges in Coimbatore, namely Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hindusthan Arts and Science College, Karunya University and Amrita School of Engineering and Coimbatore Institute of Technology have been selected as centres for the drive.

Various school and colleges are set to participate in the event, which showcases various facets of the Indian Air Force. Students will be guided on career opportunities in the Air Force.

The drive, was flagged off from Delhi on August 18 will travel about 7,000 km covering 23 cities in six months to target about 250 premier educational institutes, before it finishes in the capital on February 17.
