CMS College of Science and Commerce celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at its campus in Coimbatore. Smt. Uma V. Menon, wife of Late Shri. K.V. Menon, Founder Chairman of the CMS Educational and Charitable Trust, hoisted the tricolor national flag, while Shri. K. Gereesan, Chairman of the Trust, delivered the Independence Day message. Earlier, Principal Dr. S. Vimalanand welcomed the gathering. The day, marking India’s 78 years of freedom, paid tribute to the valiant efforts of the freedom fighters. Shri. P.V. Sajiesh Kumar – Vice-Chairman, Shri. V. Chandrakumar – Secretary, Shri. K.V. Sashidharan – Joint Secretary, and many of managing trustees graced the occasion. College NCC cadets presented an impressive parade, showcasing discipline, precision, and patriotic fervor as part of the celebrations.
