Initiate action against prostitution in massage parlour in Vadavalli

Coimbatore : A section of residents of Vadavalli area today sought the interventon of police, to prevent the reported prostitution in an Ayurvedic massage parlour in the area.

The residents, majority of them being women, in their petition to the Superintendent of Police claimed that a  large number of men and women used to visit the Spa during night hours and many under the influence of liquor.

The womenfolk in the area feel insecure due to the movement of large number of men, the petitioners said.

In view of the situation, police should investigate and take stringent action against the massage centre cum spa, they said.
