Indian Overseas Bank defeated Indian Railway 71-52 in a league match in the 52nd All India Basketball Tournament for Natchimuthu Gounder Cup, here today.

Pratham Singh scored 14 for the Bankmen and Somveer 11 for the losers. In the second match for men, Income Tax beat Indian Air Force 79-69.

In a closely contested match in 16th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, NorthFrontier Railway defeated Coimbatore District Basketball Association 75-70.

Geetha top scorred for Railway team, whle Oshern Navindran 22 for the locals. In another absorbing match, KSEB defeated Chattisgarah State 43-39.
