Isha Arogya Alai to conduct six medical camps for government schools free of cost.

Coimbatore  : Isha Arogya Alai, a unit of Isha Foundation’s Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR) will be organizing six medical camps for government schools, free of cost.

The medical camps include dental and eye care checkup for the government school students in collaboration with Aravind Eye Hospital and Ramakrishna dental hospital here
      
The first three eye and dental health care camps will be taking place on  seven and eight at Government. Girls Higher Seconday School, Thondamutthur and on  November 13 at Govt Hr Sec School, Alandurai.
   
The next three medical camps will be held 21st November at Govt High School, Sennanur on November 21; Govt High School Madampatti November 22 and at Govt. High School, Devarayapuram on November 28.
     
Students will be diagnosed free of cost for problems like cataract, long and short sight and many more. Those diagnosed with cataract shall be provided with the necessary treatment at Aravind Eye Hospital and those diagnosed with eyesight issues will be provided with spectacles at minimal cost.

For all kinds of dental issues, consultation will be provided free of cost and treatment at a concessional rate. The students will be educated on complete oral care and dental maintenance by the doctors. The medical camps conducted are exclusively for the students of the respective government school only and not for the general public.
     
With the sole objective of providing a healthy lifestyle and enhancing the quality of living, Isha ARR has involved itself in various kinds of activities.  As a part of this, they have been conducting medical camps free of cost in various places in Tamil Nadu.
