Kamal Hassan discussing LS preparatory meeting with party in-charges

Coimbatore : Founder-President of Makkal Needhi Mayyam (MNM), Kamal Hassan is discussing various factors involved in contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls with the district in-charges of his nascent party.
The two-day meeting, which began Tuesday at the party Pollachi Headquarters, some 35 KMs from here, is being attended by nearly 1,000 district, Assembly constituency and area in-charges of the party to get the feedback and inputs on the issue.
Besides Kamal Hassan, party Vice President Dr. R.Mahendran and General Secretary A Arunachalam are attending the meeting, party sources said.
The idea was to have a one on one meeting with the senior office-bearers so that the in-charges can get personalized information regarding their constituencies, they said.
In-charges from 11 districts of Coimbatore, Pollachi, Tiruppur, Erode Karur, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgris, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri and Dindiguil are participating in the meeting, which will conclude tomorrow.
