Karni Sena protest against `Padmavat’ in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Seventy 70 activists of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena today staged a demonstration in the city seeking a ban on the controversial film `Padmavat’.

Holding placards, the activists raised slogans against the release of the film and also director Sanjay Leela Bansali, police said.

They also warned of intensifying their stir against the film, which `hurt the sentiments of Kshatriyas and Rajputs’.
