Kavasam foundation to help victims of abuse

Industrialists, educational institutions and philanthropists in the district have come together to form ‘Kavasam Foundation’ to help victims of crime, abuse and road accidents.

The project is the brainchild of city police commissioner Mr. V Balakrishnan.

The Commissioner along with Mr. Ravi Sam, Managing Director of Adwaith Lakshmi Industries & Mr. L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons charities gave away educational assistance to the families of the victims.

Mr. Balakrishnan said the foundation will help families of the victims monetarily, find jobs and psychological support and provide educational assistance.
