KMCH Institute of Health Sciences and Research (KMCH IHSR), established in 2019 under the aegis of Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Limited (KMCH), has rapidly emerged as a leading medical college in Tamil Nadu. KMCH is the first corporate hospital in India to start a medical college.

Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, the institution currently has an annual intake of 150 students in its MBBS course and 39 post graduates in 10 departments.

*KMCH IHSR proudly hosted its second Graduation Day ceremony for the MBBS 2020-2026 batch on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the auditorium of Dr. N.G.P. Arts & Science College, Kalappati Road, Coimbatore.*

In his address *Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman & Managing Director, KMCH* remarked: “To witness our second batch fills our hearts with immense pride and hope. The ceremony was graced by *Padma Shri Dr. Ravi Kannan, R., Director, Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Center (CCHRC) Assam, as the esteemed Chief Guest.* Addressing the graduating class, Dr. Ravi Kannan emphasized the profound responsibility of the medical profession, stating, “Graduation is not merely the end of an academic journey, but the beginning of a lifetime of service. In a significant step forward for the institution’s academic growth, the management announced that KMCH IHSR has introduced a new Postgraduate (PG) course effective from the current academic year, further expanding its contribution to advanced medical education and specialization.
