The hospital today announced a major leap forward in oncology with the launch of the Varian ETHOS Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART) system, making it the first hospital in Tamil Nadu to offer this revolutionary, AI-powered technology.

This advanced infrastructure was part of a significant investment totaling ₹70 crore in new medical equipment, which also included the launch of the Symbia Pro specta SPECT CT and a new MRI scan facility, underscoring KMCH’s commitment to comprehensive, world-class diagnostics and treatment.

This suite of new equipment was inaugurated by Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman and Managing Director of KMCH on January 2, 2026.
