Coimbatore : Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dharmapuri attached to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has bagged the Best Krishi Vigyan Kendra Award 2017.
The award carrying a citation was named as “Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rastriya Krishi Vigyan Protsahan Puraskar” and was presented by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during the Krishi Unnati Mela held at New Delhi yesterday, a release said today.
Dr.H. Philip, Director of Extension Education and Dr.P.S. Shanmugam, Programme coordinator, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dharmapuri received the award on behalf the University, it said.
