Lawyers seek to bring in legislation for permanent closure of Sterlite

Coimbatore : A group of lawyers on Friday urged Tamil Nadu government to bring in a legislation to permanently close the Sterlite Factory in Tuticorin.

The lawyers staged a protest near district court complex holding placards “legislate to close Sterlite permanently, Ban Killer Sterlite” and raised slogans in support of their demands.
