LMW ITF Tennis: Shocking exit for Sumirt Nagal

In a major upset, top seed Sumirt Nagal was defeated by fifth seed N. Vijay Sundar Prashanth to enter the semi finals of the LMW ITF Men’s International Tennis Tournament being played here. Prashant beat Nagal 6-7(3), 6-4, 6-4 in the quarter finals.

Other results in the quarter finals: Sanam Singh bt N. Sriram Balaji 1-6, 6-1, 6-3; Prajnesh Gunneswaran bt Sidharth Rawat 6-7 (5), 6-3, 7-5; Vishnu Vardhan bt Sasi Kumar Mukund 7-6 (9), 7-5.
In the doubles finals, N Sriram Balaji/Vishnu Vardhan pair will meet Anvit Bendre/N Vijay Sundar Prashanth to be played tomorrow.
