Students of RVS Polytechnic College held demonstrations against the college management, demanding that good quality food be provided to students living in the hostel.

More than 200 students protested outside the college campus, by squatting on the Trichy main road. The chief of the hostel management committee held talks with the students, but they were not ready to compromise. They demanded that the management hold talks with the students and assure to give quality food.

It took more than two hours for the management to pacify the students.
