Man arrested for cheating lover

A 43-year-old man was arrested for making a 24-year-old woman pregnant
after promising to marry her.The man, Raghupathi of Vellamadai, who works as a bus conductor, is already married
and has two children.
He had sexual relationship with the woman, on the promise of
marrying her. When she got pregnant and demanded that he marry her, he said he would
after she terminates the pregnancy. Promises changed into threats of dire consequences if
she went public with the relationship and the terminated pregnancy.
The woman filed a complaint with the Thudiyalur police. Following an investigation,
Raghupati was arrested.
