Kozhikode: Setting a dignified example, actor Manju Warrier has exhorted people to see her erstwhile husband Dileep’s ‘Ramaleela’ slated for release of September 28 along with her film.

She did not show any signs of remorse or retribution against Dileep who had in his bail application accused her and a director of trapping him in the actor abduction case.

In reaction to calls from different quarters to boycott the film, she said an individual actor is not the only one involved in the making of a movie.

It is the right of one and all artistes involved in the making of the film to see that it reaches the masses. There were also threats of burning down of theatres screening the film.

No one had the right to transgress into one’s freedom and deny others their right, she said. Manju’s film ‘Udaharanam Sujatekkoppam’ is set for release the same day
