Navarathri celebrations begin at Karamadai Aranganathar Temple

Navarathri and Vijayadashami celebrations are all set to begin at the renowned Shri Aranganatha Swami temple at Karamadai from September 19 onwards.

The Navarathri festivities commence on the first Saturday of the holy Tamil month of Purattasi (mid-September to mid-October). The festivities include chariot processions, bhajan singing, and special prayers to Lord Aranganathar. Thousands of devotees are expected to witness the celebrations at the temple.

Shri Aranganathar temple is one of the most important Vaishnavite shrines in south India.
