Coimbatore, July 30, 2026 – Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, conducted its 25th Graduation Day with academic grandeur at the P. K. Das Memorial Auditorium. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey, bringing together graduating students, faculty members, parents, and distinguished dignitaries.

The ceremony was held with the blessings of Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Chancellor, P.K. Das Deemed-to-be University, Tamil Nadu, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India, Chairman and Managing Trustee, Nehru Group of Institutions, and was presided over by Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Pro-Chancellor of P.K. Das Deemed-to-be University, Tamil Nadu, and CEO and Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions. In his presidential address, Dr. Krishnakumar highlighted the importance of value-based education, ethical leadership and lifelong learning in shaping responsible global citizens.

The Chief Guest, Padma Shri Dr. Mylswamy Annadurai, former Director of ISRO Satellite Centre, delivered the Graduation Day address. Congratulating the graduates, he urged them to cultivate scientific temper, innovation, resilience and social responsibility. Emphasising that success is built on perseverance and continuous learning, he encouraged students to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress through knowledge and integrity.

The ceremony was also graced by Dr. H. N. Nagaraja, Executive Director (Academics and Administration), who felicitated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavours.

The event was organised under the leadership of Dr. V. Vijayakumar, Principal, with the support of Dr. K. Mythili Gnanapriya, Controller of Examinations. Degrees were formally conferred upon 1,147 graduates, comprising 1,006 undergraduate and 141 postgraduate students. The college also honoured 71 rank holders, including 60 undergraduate and 11 postgraduate rank holders, in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking the successful completion of the college’s 25th Graduation Day celebrations, which reflected the institution’s enduring commitment to academic excellence, innovation and holistic education.
