Coimbatore, Jun 30 : There was little relief for Coimbatoreans, as only nine positive cases were reported today, total going to 538.

Of the total 538 cases till date, 205 were discharged and 331 undergoing treatment, according to State medical bulletin.

While Erode reported 19 cases taking the total to 157, Nilgiris has two fresh cases with total moving to 89. Of 157, 80 were discharged and 73 under treatment with four deaths in Erode, 32 were discharged and 57 are undergoing treatment in Nilgiris.

Salem witnessed 25 fresh cases-two imported– taking the total to 780, of which 284 were discharged and 493 on treatment, with three deaths.

In Tirupur, thje total cases went up to 180, with 20 more testing positive and 117 were discharged and 63 patients in the hospitals.
