Nominations invited for Kovai Green League

The Kovai Green League has invited nominations for ‘Greenest Campus Awards’ in the school category. The awards will be presented on January 25 to schools with green campus, at the Brookefields Mall.
Kovai Green League, that was formed in July last by Brookefields, Bosch, Rotary Club of Coimbatore, WWF-India, Surya FM and Lotus TV, has partnered with five schools so far and organised several sessions of awareness programmes on effects of deforestation, wealth out of waste, importance of Western Ghats for more than 1500 students.
The league was created with an aim of spreading awareness to school students to increasing the green cover and environment conversation, said a press release.
