The local chapter of Indian Science Congress Association will organise a one-day exhibition on environmental issues here on October 28.

“With the theme “Indian Traditional Knowledge”, the exhibition will cover areas such as climate, soil, rain water harvesting, environmental protection, agriculture, medicinal plants, domestic animals, seed storage, man-animal conflict, healthcare and, biodiversity conservation,” Convenor of the chapter C.A. Vasuki said.

Students from various schools and colleges of Coimbatore district would showcase their exhibits at the expo, to be held at Kongunadu Arts and Science College, she said.

Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Director, Tamil Nadu Forest Academy, here, Rajeev K. Srivatsava will inaugurate the exhibition.
