PARK Institutions’ engineering colleges — PARK College of Engineering and Technology (PCET), PARK College of Technology (PCT), and Tamilnadu College of Engineering (TCE) — jointly hosted the grand two-day inter-collegiate cultural festival “ZERO G 2026” at their Kaniyur campus on May 5 and 6.

The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students representing 22 colleges across Tamil Nadu. More than 30 technical and cultural competitions were conducted, transforming the campus into a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and youthful energy.

The first day of the fest featured captivating musical performances by playback singer, composer and music director Nivas K. Prasanna and actress-singer Madonna Sebastian, who enthralled the audience with their melodious performances.

The second day was graced by Dr.Karikal Pari Shankar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karumathampatti,and film actor Rio Raj as chief guests.Faculty members, staff and students who excelled in academics, sports,placement achievements and various other fields were honoured during the event.

Addressing the gathering, Dr.Anusha Ravi, Chief Executive Officer of PARK Institutions, expressed her excitement about the annual inter-collegiate cultural celebration and thanked the dignitaries for their gracious presence. Drawing inspiration from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary statement made 25 years ago — “One IT professional from every home” — she shared her own aspiration of creating “One entrepreneur from every home of PARK alumni.”

A major highlight of ZERO G 2026 was the launch of two new scholarship initiatives — the “Nambikkai Scholarship” and the “Sakthi Scholarship.”

The “Nambikkai Scholarship” has been introduced exclusively for orphaned children and students from orphanages who aspire to pursue higher education. The “Sakthi Scholarship” is a dedicated initiative aimed at supporting differently-abled students by ensuring equal access to quality higher education opportunities.

These scholarship programmes are jointly offered by the ZERO G organising committee and PARK Institutions.
Under the scholarship initiative,
M. Hariprasanth, First Year, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, received the Nambikkai Scholarship, while

M. Madehanraj, First Year, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, received the Sakthi Scholarship.

DSP Dr.Karikal Pari Shankar inspired students with real-life investigative experiences blended with engaging storytelling, while actor Rio Raj shared insights from his cinematic journey and encouraged students not to restrict themselves to a single goal, but to explore multiple opportunities and pursue their true passion.

The event concluded with energetic cultural performances, leaving participants and attendees with memorable experiences from the grand celebration of ZERO G 2026.
