Petrol bomb hurled at Salem post office

Coimbatore : Miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at South Post Office in nearby Salem.

A person, who used to clean the premises, noticed the burnt mark on the ground and glass pieces lying nearby and immediately informed police, who rushed to the spot this morning.

Preliminary inquiry revealed that the petrol bomb might have hurled late last night or in the wee hours, police said.

CCTV footages were being monitored to get a clue about the miscreants, they added.
