Coimbatore : Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi General Secretary, E R Eswaran on Tuesday accused a gang in Pollachi of selling hundreds of women to Foreign countries, after they are subjected to blackmail.

Referring to the Pollachi sexual harassment case, which attracted an outrage across the Country, Eswaran told reporters that hundreds of videos were taken by threatening the girls and women and they are being sent to foreign countries as sex slaves.

“You believe it or not. Hundreds of women are threatened and sent to foreign countries,” Eswaran alleged.

Accusing the State government of trying to protect the culprits by giving police protection to their house, he said that instead those who were protesting against the issue were being arrested.

The government and police were not ready to take action, despite the people nabbing and handing over the culprits, he said.

He said that the ensuing Lok Sabha elections were not only to change the Government at the Centre, but one to change the government in the State also.
