Private hospital to conduct diabetes awareness rally

The Kovai Diabetes Speciality Centre and Hospital (KDSCH) will commemorate the World Diabetes Day with weeklong programmes in and around Coimbatore, from November 14 to 22, here.
According to a release from the organization, the Mega Diabetes Awareness and Multi Speciality Medical Program will be inaugurated at the hospital campus near Ram Nagar, where diabetes screening of blood sugar and an exhibition is to be conducted. The programmes will also be conducted in 20 schools and 20 parks in and around Coimbatore.
As a part of the event a medical education programme will also be conducted for doctors, including a mini marathon in the city on November 22.
