Coimbatore : On 19th July 2024, the NHRD Coimbatore Chapter organized a session on ‘HR Statutory Compliance for DISH’ at the Hindustan College of Arts and Science. The session was chaired by the esteemed guests, Mr. M Seenivasagam, Joint Director of Industrial Safety and Health Division I, and Mr. R Ramesh, Joint Director of Industrial Safety and Health Division II. Mr. Durai Raj, Deputy Director of Industrial Safety and Health Division I, was the key resource person who walked the participants through the major compliance requirements under DISH and the upcoming new labour code followed by a Question and answer session.

The event was attended by the NHRD Coimbatore Chapter’s leadership team, including Dr. R Sangeetha, President; Mr. Balu, Vice President; Ms. Ponmalar, Vice President; Mr. Shanmugam, Joint Secretary; and Executive Members Ms. Vanisree, Mr. Bharat, and Mr.Naveen. Additionally, 300 HR professionals from various industries participated in the program, which was widely acclaimed as enriching and informative. This program serves to be an important milestone bringing together the officials and the HR professionals under one roof with a unified goal of enhancing the working conditions, labour law related compliances, industrial safety and health at factories in the district of Coimbatore.
