PSG inks pact with Glasgow Caledonian varsity

PSG Group of Institutions has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) to facilitate student and faculty exchanges and collaborative projects in various areas such as textiles, fashion, bio-sciences and healthcare.

Over the last three years, about 100 students from PSG College of Technology, PSG Polytechnic College and PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research have attended two-week summer school programme at GCU, a press release from the institution said.

The agreement will pave the way for an international collaboration and joint research projects between GCU and PSG. It also offers an opportunity to carry out branch-specific projects and exchange visits for students.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Jeanine Gregersen-Hermans, Vice-Principal and Pro Vice-Chancellor of GCU and Dr. P. Radhakrishnan, Director PSG Institute of Advanced Studies. Dr. Jeanine is heading a four-member delegation to Coimbatore.

Glasgow Caledonian University is one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom. Based in Scotland, GCU is engaged in the education and training of undergraduate, postgraduate students and research scholars across multiple disciplines. The University also has campuses at London, Oman, Bangladesh and New York.
