Coimbatore: Punjab Police defeated Customs 53-51 on the second day of the 53rd All India Basketball Championship for men for Naachimuthu Gounder Cup being underway here.

Gurdit Singh 10, Ranbir Singh 10, Dilpreet Singh 10 played well for Punjab, while Surya scored 21 points for the losers.

In the second match A.S.C defeated Coimbatore District Baskerball Association 85 54.
