Avaada Electro, the solar PV manufacturing arm of the Avaada Group, convened leading EPCs, rooftop installers, and regional channel partners in Tamil Nadu, marking a decisive push to expand its presence across India’s fast-growing distributed solar segment.

With rooftop solar adoption accelerating across residential and commercial rooftop segments, Avaada Electro is actively engaging with the installer and distributor ecosystem. The Tamil Nadu meet focused on strengthening channel partnerships, enhancing product accessibility, and ensuring consistent supply to retail-driven markets.

During the session, the company highlighted its advanced 720 Wp N-Type TOPCon solar module. The high-wattage configuration enables improved power rating and cost competitiveness.

Currently operating with 8.50 GW of solar PV module manufacturing capacity, Avaada Electro manufactures its portfolio at its manufacturing facility in Nagpur complemented by other facility at Dadri (UP). Equipped with automated production lines, the Nagpur facility achieves an average cycle time of approximately 16 seconds, reflecting the company’s emphasis on precision manufacturing, operational efficiency, and scalable supply to meet growing retail demand.

Avaada Electro’s modules are ALMM-listed and certified to international standards including BIS, IEC, and UL, reinforcing its quality credentials and bankability across geographies — from utility-scale parks to rooftop installations.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vineet Mittal, Chairman and Whole-time Director, Avaada Electro Limited, said, “India’s solar growth momentum is increasingly being driven by rooftop and distributed segments. Our focus is on building strong regional channel partnerships while ensuring that high-efficiency, domestically manufactured modules are readily accessible to installers and distributors. With advanced N-Type TOPCon technology and scalable manufacturing, we are committed to being a dependable long-term partner for the retail solar ecosystem.”

The Tamil Nadu engagement included technical discussions on module integration, installation efficiency, warranty assurance, and supply reliability frameworks. The company also outlined its roadmap to expand its presence across states through development of distributor networks and structured channel support.

As India advances toward greater energy independence and domestic manufacturing resilience, Avaada Electro aims to combine scale, technology, and retail accessibility, participating in the country’s rapidly expanding rooftop solar market.
