Royal Care Hospital Conducts “Surface Cleaning and Disinfection in Health Care facilities”.

The Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Unit at Royal Care Super Specialty Hospital in Neelambur, Coimbatore, has organized and conducted a certification program Consortium of Accredited Hospitals Organization (CAHO) on “Surface Cleaning and Disinfection in Health Care facilities”.
Contamination of the environmental surfaces a crucial in the transmission of healthcare associated infections. Effective implementation of cleaning and surface disinfection which is well within the framework of the infection control program of the healthcare facility is very important. This hands-on training program orients participants to the multimodal activities which ensures clean & safe environment for patient care.
More than 75 members from different hospitals in and around Coimbatore has participated and benefitted.
